Overall great experience. We were in a private room area. It was nice for the group setting. I enjoyed the food and the wait staff was attentive.

Our meal has just begun and these three appetizers are amazing. The firecracker shrimp was spicy and sweet and crispy! It is amazing. We got the crispy brussels sprouts with peanut chili sauce perfect. The lamb meatballs with peter brwas excellent. The pita bread & meatballs were moist covered with tomato and feta cheese.

Had such a great experience at Busboys and Poets Columbia! My bf and I came in craving something comforting and ended up ordering the shrimp and chicken chorizo pasta along with the chicken panini — and wow, both dishes were absolutely delicious.What truly made our visit special, though, was our server, Nelson. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. His energy and care really elevated the whole experience. If you’re planning to dine here, definitely ask for Nelson — he’ll truly complete your dining experience! We’ll definitely be back.

Taylor was absolutely phenomenal. Hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had—attentive, friendly, fast, and genuinely made the entire experience outstanding. Taylor went above and beyond in every way including personalizing my birthday plate. If you’re lucky enough to get Taylor as your server, you’re in great hands. Truly extraordinary service!

(FIrst visit) My wife, daughters and I came here for a family member’s birthday. I really loved the design of the restaurant with the indoor and outdoor seating, private rooms on the 2nd level, bookstore on the main level, and beautiful artwork surrounding you. Our event was on the 2nd level in one of the rooms that had the bar and access to the outdoor seating area. The wait staff took great care of us. Since I was not that hungry I just had the Busboys House Salad and for dessert I had a slice of their Carrot cake + some Vanilla Ice Cream. Carrot cake is one of my favorites and this was some of the best carrot cake I have had. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely go back. (Second visit) Brought my family here for lunch on a Sunday. It was busy but we did not have long to wait. We were seated in the 2nd level. Our wife's father, who is a vegetarian, was with us and we had already scoped out that they had a good selection of vegetarian options. Our drink order came promptly but when the food came out one of the two orders of the chicken tenders and fries for our daughter came out. It took a little while to get everything sorted out regarding the missing 2nd order (turns out our waitress only put in one order). Both our waitress and the manager made things right by offering to reheat the meals that did come out and comped the kid’s meals. Though it was an inconvenience I give them high marks for making amends. The girls enjoyed their chicken tenders and fries. My Shrimp and Grits were really good, I also got the Honey Caramel specialty coffee drink which was just ok. Overall the experience was good and I would still go back.

FIRECRACKER SHRIMP – $6 Crispy With A Nice Sweet-Heat Kick & Perfect For Sharing. Wish It Was More Crunchy & A Tad Less Sweet But Great For The HH Price. MINI NACHOS – $6 Great Portion For The Price, Cheesy & Flavorful. CESAR SALAD WITH BLACKENED SALMON $33 Topped With Red Onions & Avocado. Fresh, Filling, & Nicely Balanced With Well-Seasoned Salmon. Definitely One Of My Fav Places For Salad, Not Cheap But Filling & Worth It! Water With Lemon Arnold Palmer *Refreshing & Not Too Sweet. Great Service From Start To Finish. Friendly, Attentive, & On Point. I Love How Staff Took Plates As We Finished. I Also Love That There’s A Bookstore Inside, But What Really Stood Out Was The Space. This Location Is Huge, With 2 Levels & Even An Elevator, Making It Feel Open, Comfortable, & Accessible. Same Busboys Quality I Love, Just On A Much Larger Scale. Great Food, Great Atmosphere, & A Perfect Spot For Casual Dining Or Hanging Out.

I stopped by this spot for brunch with some friends. The wait time was decent when I arrived, but this place gets packed quickly. The food was pretty good, I tried the eggs benedict and they came out perfect. The home fries were good as well. We were served well and attended to thoroughly by the staff. Overall, this spot was good and will def be going back!

A fantastic experience! Gluten free food clearly marked! Had some questions and everyone was answered! Great food, handicapped accessible, can manage a larger party and the atmosphere was magical! PS: ask for Busola, this woman was amazing, and the service was outstanding! Tell her Joy says hello if you do!
